Drinking Water

Hey guys hope you are all well! Sorry it’s been a while since my last post, it’s been a rather hectic week for me. Today I’m going to be talking about the importance of consuming water as part of your diet. To get started here is a little fact for you all; a person can survive up to 4 weeks without food, but only a few days without water. This emphasises the importance of water to a human (or any living thing for that matter).

Various scientific studies have concluded that an average human living in a neutral climate needs approximately 2 litres of water a day in order to function properly. Now obviously this can vary greatly depending on the surrounding environment for example if you like in a tropical climate with temperature constantly around 30c you would need significantly more water.

Not drinking enough water or drinking contaminated water can lead to a raft of health issues such as diarrhoea, millions of people die each year around the world due to water related ailments (mainly in poor African communities). This has lead to the birth of charities such as water aid whose aim is to try a decrease the number of deaths by introducing clean drinking water to communities who need it most.

In summary then guys, you need to drink water as part of a healthy diet. And please spare a thought for those less fortunate than yourself who can’t access clean drinking water. Stay healthy guys.

Pros and Cons of Botox

Afternoon everyone, I hope you are all ok. It’s an absolutely horrible day outside so I’m sat here in my nice warm office drinking a hot cup of green tea. I’ve got a controversial topic for you all today, a product that seems to be increasing in popularity seemingly day by day. That product is of course Botox.

Now we all know about the ‘benefits’ of having botox injections, I will call it the Simon Cowell effect ha-ha. He seems to look younger now than he did 10 years ago. But I imagine most people don’t really know about the potential repercussions of having botox. Some people can experience things such as double vision, inability to close your eyes and even facial paralysis. There are even reports linking botox injections to death, though these should be taken with a rather large pinch of salt.

But hey if none of that deters you and you still want to go ahead with it then please please use a company that is experienced and professional! I have a friend that works with a botox company up in Cheshire and by all accounts they are very good. So if you’re after botox treatments in the Manchester area then please try these guys. Stay healthy everyone!

Fancy a Whiter Smile?

Afternoon everyone, hope you’re all well. Just a quick one today as I’m snowed under with work and I’m probably gona be waist deep in paper for the next 2 weeks! This is something that me and my wife have been considering for a while: teeth whitening. Now don’t get me wrong we both brush our teeth twice a day and generally have good oral health. But this service doesn’t cost an arm and a leg so we though why not.

Finding a decent provider did prove tricky though, there are lots of `companies` who perform this service for as little as £30! It doesn’t take a genius to work out that there probably not the best. We did however manage to find a decent company who appeared both experienced and price competitive. And let me tell you this, the results have been fantastic! You guys really should have a long hard look into this because the benefits are amazing!! Anyways here is the link for a quality teeth whitening service in Birmingham. The company is called SRM Lighter Shades, seriously look them up!

Green Tea, is it really that good?

If you do a quick search on any internet search engine for the health benefits of green tea, it’s not hard to find a raft of information.

The census seems to be this: drink more green tea and it won’t be long before you feel the benefits. But is it really that simple?
I for one think this to be true, of course that is just my personal opinion and I’m not a scientist. I’ve been drinking 3-5 cups of green tea a day for about a year now and I can honestly say that I’ve never been healthier.

Obviously this could just be a coincidence but the fact of the matter is this: since I’ve been drinking green tea the level of anti-oxidants that I’ve consumed has gone through the roof. We all know the potential effect that anti-oxidants have on our health and I genuinely think that this is the reason that I’ve felt so good since I started drinking the green stuff.

Now I could bore you with the facts and figures but I’d rather let somebody else do that so click here to see what the good old folks at the UK tea council have to say on the matter. In the mean time, stay healthy guys.
